You know, you would have to say 'About friggin time APPLE!!'
Interesting idea for design though, tower case and rack mountable, can see that being very popular :)

I'll bet you money they include Android tablets in the same chart if an Android tablet ever actually sells significant numbers. And it IS deceptive because they did not point out that the chart is completely different if you included all Apple iOS devices, whereas if you included all other Android devices besides phones the chart wouldn't change.
Yeah... who knows.
But also... who cares? Is marketshare anything more than fanboy fodder?
Apple is in the business of selling products and they are doing just that. Don't be so concerned with charts and graphs... just let Apple do what they do.

I expect all of the above. Why not? Apple's on a roll now. Keep the steamroller rolling. :)

Which is exactly what I said. But you couldn't help twisting the dagger a little bit by saying ...
Democrats - "I am in favor of increasing government taxation, and I have the opportunity to put my money where my mouth is by voluntarily paying more taxes, but I am nonetheless not going to if other people don't."
So are you, on your own, going to voluntarily give money to the government? Or do we get to lump you in with your description of Democrats?
If you'd read and quoted the last two sentences of my post, you would have realized that I'm not in favor of increasing taxes as long as so much of it is spent on three needless wars.
This sewing circle uses sarcasm time-to-time.

Afterall it's just a couple lines of code. :D
Shouldn't be much code - the Adobe apps are already cross platform so there shouldn't be many endian issues to sort out. It's just a matter of changing development environments to use XCode and re-testing.
Not simple, but not something that should take almost 2 years either.

The problem with the cloud based approach is the current limits on data usage. If your not on wifi I can see a good amount of folks going through 2GB of data quick.

"Toyota had agreed to do so to "maintain their good relationship with Apple," "
Toyota has a relationship with Apple, good or bad? Why? I don't see the connection.
Well, to be honest, BOTH of there "Quality Assurance" (or rather lack thereof) has gone severly downhill in the last couple years. Oh yea, I say this as an owner of BOTH companies products....sadly:(:(
Now "HOW YA LIKE THEM APPLES STEVE JOBS??"

Too many buttons - if there were any more I'd think it was a Microsoft product. :D ;)
lol my point exactly... and look at the status lights! What a joke. Was this mock-up meant to be a joke, or was it actually serious? Kind of lacking in the apple-ness department (OSX aside)
Anyway... thank god at least for a new rumour. Was getting annoyed abotu having to read the 'thanksgiving sale confimed' BS.
give me an ultraportable... interface is up to steve.

Can you cite reliable figures for the cost advantage versus the cost to switch?
Sorry it took so long to respond to this; I assure you it took only a second to Google (this is just the first result I found):

Not a whole lot of new info, but any indication that the move to Merom will be a rapid one is certainly welcomed...

I'll gladly wait 3/4 months if we get all the much needed upgrades we've been waiting for. I doubt they will release the iPhone 5 and iOS 5 separately.

Kind of weird, Apple should not be meddling in that stuff. Way way too domineering.
Apple should absolutely have asked for this.
Toyota should have said 'no,' but for Apple to not ask at all would have been irresponsible. They're being consistant, which is a good thing.

If mac users don't use av software, there's little motivation for anyone to supply it. If NO ONE is working on av software, then in the eventuality that we do need it, we're all starting from scratch. That's just never a good place to be if you can with minimal effort prevent it.
It's kind of like getting your flu shot in a year when the flu isn't supposed to be particularly bad. I seldom get the flu, but I go ahead and get the shot every year anyway because if no one does, there's little motivation for pharma companies to develop future flu shots. Which means in the really bad flu years, there's a shortage because only one company is making the shot.
Flu vaccines are very much like AV software for Mac. They both rely on fear, uncertainty, and doubt. H1N1 killed fewer people per year than the more typical strain of flu but the marketing hype made big business a lot of money.

thanks for the utube link. It definitely looks like a sturdy mount even on the dash which tends to not be perfectly smooth.
I am surprised it appears in the middle of the dash in the video. I am hoping to use it closer to left of center on a sloping part of the dash for even easier reachability while driving.
You mentioned your dock is shipping midweek. Did you buy from BottomLine Telecommunications for $90?? Says out of stock and on backorder.
Thanks again.
I did, and hopefully it will ship when it says on 11/11. They are apparently expecting a boatload of them. We'll see.
And yes, I'm mounting it closer to me (left of center) on a sloping dash, too.

I am skeptical about the iphone myself and am waiting to see what apple will offer. I have never felt part of the "cell phone generation" and find all the bells a whistles superfluous. I am hoping apple will add features that I will actually want and use. What they are, I dont know, but perhaps apple can tell me what I want?
Givin apples history and reputation I will give them the benifit of the doubt...

If true...sounds like iPhone 3GS and iPad 1 owners are going to be shown the door.
We'll see, but I plan to upgrade from my iPad 1 to an iPad 3 when available anyways.

Is Lion available to iOS developers as well? Or is it solely for those with paid memberships to the "Mac Developer Program"?
Only for paid membership to Mac Developer Program.

the worst part is that we don't know if and how many points he had at the beginning, and/or if any monster or trap was pre-placed in the mansion. Nor we know the 'price-list" and stats of monsters and trap (all of which i think we should)
Actually, I can answer a few of those questions.
The villain isn't given any points prior to the start of the game, so as of round 1, he has 2 turns (points). There are no monsters nor traps pre-placed in the mansion.
As for the price-list and stats, that's secret.
As for your re-written rules, I'm taking your suggestion and cleaning it up, then putting it in the OP. With full credit, of course. ;)

It's: "Do not buy iPhone. Go with Android." That's how I see it. Companies like Toyota will have no choice but to double their efforts in serving Android users.
They pushed me away, I'm Android on my phone, iPad 2 on my tablet. If I can't jailbreak my iPad 2 in the next week, HELLO ANDROID XOOM :-)

WWDC is a developer confernce, so Leopard and the Mac Pro. I'd be surprised if he even mentions Merom.Tons of Mac developers use PowerBooks (*cough* I mean MacBook Pros). so I wouldn't be at all surprised to see it mentioned. In fact I'd venture to say PB/MBP are becoming the machine of choice for coders. In fact I'm planning on completely replacing both my dual G5 and my G4 PowerBook with a new MacBook Pro as soon as they revise them with Meron chips. Also, "developers" means hardware developers as well as software, and software developers have to know about the chips they're coding for too, so talking details about a processor is not at all unusual for WWDC (The G5 was discussed in great detail there, for example). But if I had to guess, I'll say they will not revise the MB Pros at WWDC, it will be all about the new Mac Pros, Merom chips, and Leopard. Possibly Xserve will be announced as well but it might be too early for that.
