90% of my work is done in PhotoShop. Without it I'd be lost. So I'd have to say Adobe. Now if only I could get my company to drop Quark for InDesign . . .

Rumor away... it's MacRumors.com after all. :D [/B]
IEEE 802.116 is probably a mistake by the HR person who wrote up the job description. They probably saw either 802.11b or 802.11G and thought the b or
G was a 6. HR people don't always have much of an idea of what the company they work for actually does. I once knew one who worked for a computer company that thought a monitor was the computer itself and no the computer wasn't an iMac it was a PC.
An iPod with wireless networking with rendevous is a facinating idea. Especially when you consider using it with a Phillips or other brand stereo or car stereo.
Bluetooth may be there to dial numbers on you cell phone from your iPod. It could be a short range version of the wireless connection above or even used for bluetooth headphones. I'm personally not big on the idea of bluetooth headphones.
USB would make sense since Apple is chasing the PC market with the iPod now. Very few PCs have firewire cards but most made in the last 3 years have USB.
GSM is interesting..... Most likely for sending text messages via a cell phone. It also may indicate that a USB bus and/or bluetooth may be for input too. However if the iPod could send text messages without a cell phone...
Very nice find MacCoaster

Nope....MS didn't, they were sued by the same company and settled for 26M, never once did they not put force feedback in there system, and they cite the reason as it being "last gen"
But if MS didn't pay the lawsuit they would have said the same kinda of thing. Companies don't admit that kind of thing.
Sony took a bet that people didn't love rumble all that much and they lost thats all.

It's about time. I'm glad somebody has woke up at Apple. By October Intel will have the 4.4GHZ P5 with a 1MB L2 cache and a 600MHZ FSB, so why would anybody want a 1.8GHZ 970?

The only thing I miss is when you hold your mouse over an image in IE, a little thing comes over it that gives you the option to save it directly to the Pictures Folder or Print it (or e-mail, or open My Pictures).
install this (http://piro.sakura.ne.jp/xul/_popupalt.html.en) extension to get the tooltips to work.
It's actually bad coding of the page, but many are like that.... I think it applies to pages written with vs.net... and in any case, it works with that extension.

Typically I attend the Photoplus Expo in NYC every year and as much as I love it there, I would like a change for 2007. Are there any free or registerable Apple trade shows where I can walk around and look at new Apple products/demos?

Almost makes you feel bad for Napster.
What are their options? Stop this widely-publicized service already? Go out of business? Either way, it doesn't look good for Napster.

Yes we've been waiting for this for a while...
Why not Indesign?
Workflow, retraining, bosses...
All good things come to those who wait.
Quark -- still fine for doing good work... just not ideal.

Yea nvidia jsut makes the cards, and apple pays them to sell them.... sheesh what a rip...

hey...I wonder if our registration for the mac version will be the same, or if windows users will have to purchase it all over again?
Just found out: windows user need to purchase a SEPERATE registration code.
I tried registerring Konfabulator on my PC today (Ive registered it on my Mac) and when using the same code, I get the error:
"Sorry, that code is a Macintosh code and is not valid. You must purchase a windows registration code."
Kinda ticks me off. We shouldnt have to pay twice for the same thing. Hopefully they fix that and decide not to double-charge existing users....

What was vniows first user name?
Yay! One I know the answer to! :D
And, to make this post slightly more worthwhile, what was Mr Anderson's old username?
Blackspot was the other Admin, he did most of the story approving.
I believe it was Blakespot, not Blackspot.

I'm glad someone started a thread on mice I've had a question for a while. I've been considering a mouse with a scroll wheel. I could care less about a second button. But here's the deal I'm a gamer and I'm wondering if there is anything to the high dpi rates of the Razer Boomslang mice. I don't want to spend my money on another mouse without know this. Any help would be nice espcially input if you have one or have used one on a mac.
