IE hasn't been significantly upgraded in 2 years. That's YEARS. I don't know what that huge company has been working on all this time, but it's not to make new and cool stuff.

Okay seriously, 2005? Do you know ANYTHING about the 970?
It's ****ing backwards compatible. Only a small portion of the down and dirty part of the OS needs to be re-written. The rest of it is fine.
On another note I seem to remember hearing that the 970 uses less power than the G4, would this make 970 laptops viable, or am I just daydreaming again.

I use Adium...
but do have a couple of issues with it.
I like to display my contacts in order of status - but it doesn't seem to refresh... so I have do do that manually via View - Sort Contacts - by Status - evven though it is already ticked?!!!
And when i'm having three way chats with people - my comments appear twice in the main window... makes it all a bit annoying.
oh yeah and I found a bug in the emoticons - which I reported....
the blush keystrokes are the same as for vampire bat.
I didnt realise it till a femaled friend told me to stop using it!
I use Adium X 0.63.

couldnt you just run 4 instances of the program? the os should handle the work load and distribute each instance to a single core right? let me know if im wrong on this.

with this realease of thie sony with dvdr - we can expect to see the tibook with one soon. It would have been nice to have it first on the apple side but o well.
I wouldnt mind seeing a new desing on the new tibooks also.

When I play games, I don't like to have to interact with other players. I don't like to wait for games to start online. I don't like to be schooled by people who spend exponentially more time playing than I do. I like to play for whatever chunks of time I have and that's it. If I have 30 minutes to play, I want to spend it playing and enjoying myself. I don't want to spend 20 minutes waiting to get a group together.
With all this in mind, could I still play and enjoy World of Warcraft?

What I find interesting is how Arn comes so much later, considering he basically started the site.

There has, but software allows it (right now) to use a maximum of 20GB anyway, so its just not worth it...
So maybe when this upgraded version is released it may be bumped to 120 gig? :confused:

Mayte this is too logical, but the double your memory program is going until Dec. 31st. How likely is it that they would release a new product while that promotion is going? As hopeful as I am for a new PB release, I am now leaning towards MWSF.

Yup! That's how I play. I don't have time to wait around. I play 15 minutes here and there. With rested exp (doubles your exp), I still level up decently fast.

Long overdue. With 15" screens and no-L3 slow single G4s, they ought to be $999, $1149, $1399 and $1649 for the 17" at most.

I would say that the 14 inch deserves a faster either a faster graphics card or more video memory. Just like the iMac 17 inch has a GeForce 4 MX instead of it's little cousins, which have the GeF2MX, the iBook 14 inch could have a faster/better card.

I cannot access apple.com at all, earlier I had the same issue as you with the images not loading. However I can get to mac.com just fine.

No L3 means apple COULD charge much less than with L3 cache. That stuffs expensive in 2 and 3MB chunks.

And if Apple is retarded, I REALLY don't want to think about saving $ by putting slower RAM, or even worse, a slower memory controller made by Apple into these machines. I'm slightly nervous about pricing. I see lots of reasons for the 970 to be a reason to make Mac's less money. However, I see Apple as having lots of reasons to make the 970 responsible for equally high or even higher priced macs.

Most of the apple users work on Windows PC's at work. At least I do... Hope that changes sometime...
Anyways, I'm a vivid .Mac user, have all my stuff stored in Mail, Addressbook, iCal, Safari Bookmarks ,etc. I iSync everything to .Mac but when I'm at work, I have no counterpart application for it...
I'm stuck with the bookmarks popup window that at least has now links to the addressbook and the mail application. There's no link to iCal or anything web based that allows me to change and update my iCal calendar.
Is there something that can edit iCal files on a windows pc?
