Super Mario World easy. There's so many super nes games I'd rate higher than Mario RPG...I did enjoy it, but there's much better out there.

Why is it that Adobe are consistently setting high standards?
What is it about this company that others can't seem to match?
This sounds like a good idea, and if they can get MS and half-a-dozen or more big camera manufacturers on board then it could take off.
However, I wonder what DRM scheme it might have embedded in it.
(Can't wait to try importing one of these into Quark 9.3 and watching it crash...)

One thing is for certain, the prices of the new TiBook are going to be just as high as the current. If you wait 6 months their prices will drop. I rarely buy when the new models come out on any Apple machine. Instead I wait 6 months for an improved model to come out, or at least a price drop before buying the second best model. The exception was the Flat Panel iMac G4 800 as it was such a good deal.

I'm getting the same "sql_mode" error message. Must be a problem in the software.
I'm trying to access a remote host.

Pretty much all WU's will have varying points and therefore different folding times, just relax and let the computer fold and when you check it next time, enjoy the points.

Yeah, in every system benchmark I've done, my TiBook 500 is slightly quicker than my G4 500 Tower, though I'd say the tower is more responsive, though that's because of the 1.5GB of RAM and the quicker hard discs.
In a word though, they're both... snappy. :p

benixau, and others concerned about speed as marketing:
Speed is important to hear, but the actual performance matters to power users who know the difference, etc.
MIPS is a very poor technical benchmark. Here is why (http://futuretech.mirror.vuurwerk.net/perf.html).
In fact, read them all about MFLOPS, SPEC, etc.

I'll buy it tomorrow. I don't trust IGN anymore as far as reviews are concerned. The DS it was a blast, so long as it holds true to the format which even in the review it seems to, plus adding the 2 player battle it still seems like a great game.
Then again this is coming from someone who liked *gasp* Sonic on the PS3 :p
I'll write up a review on this and on Oblivion this weekend for you all :)

This makes a lot of sense. I suspect we may see this transition far faster than we think. What if Apple were to announce an AMD powered Power Mac at MWSF? From a software standpoint it seems almost unthinkable, but if they've found some way to do it with a minimal impact..... hmmm....

Firefox is nice but I prefer Safari. It just seems faster and smoother. Though I do use Firefox sometimes. I almost never go near IE.
My wife and I don't use IE either. My wife uses Firefox quit a bit. Mainly because of login problems on some forums. For some reason with Safari the automatic logins aren't working. This forum is about the only place that it still works.

So what are they charging more for? a HDMI port? I think they are avoiding putting a HD DVD drive in the unit based on the abysmal outlook for HD DVD's future. No wifi, both the competition boxes have wifi built in...
120GB proprietary HD, why not just make it user replacebable like Sony did....
MS is gonna piss off a lot of their current base with this.
Ed
I wish they'd put the HD DVD drive into the system as well...the official reason why they won't is that they don't want developers to rely on having the extra space. It would segment the games into regular and HDDVD only.
I don't think HDDVD is obviously going to die. It seems to like it competes well with BluRay, has more units on the market, and at least HDDVD jewel cases fit into my existing DVD racks. BluRay is, inexplicably, shipping their discs in jewel cases that are shorter, wider, and thinner. WTF?

I may just be mad, but it appears as if everyone desires a new line of Apple Computers. There are the Professional, the consumer, and educational for desktops. There are 2 different consumer models and 1 pro model for portables. Should the 12" iBook become a educational model and the 14" a consumer model? That would evenly balance apple's products and suit most people for needs.
Just a thought
I'm not sure why, but I don't see a larger iBook screen in the near future. The Powerbook already has one. Most consumers and educators use iMovie instead of Final Cut and that is the main reason for a wider screen on the PB-for final cut. Unless they release a new line, I suspect that the current laptop screens will remain the same.
One more thing-bluetooth is a very possible addition. Apple has supported it and pacted with companies that make bluetooth devices-why not add it.
That is all of my ranting you can handle-i'll stop now

Note that the iBook processor already does 800MHz (it was software-adjustable until someone let the cat out of the bag).
